Instructions for "Nighty Night, Sleep Tight":
This exercise could not be more simple, or rewarding. So often I lie down at night and my head comes alive reviewing the day, analysing every little thing I've done, berating myself for the things I haven't done, and/or worrying about the things I have to do tomorrow. None of these are helpful! What IS helpful, is getting a good night's sleep so I can wake refreshed for a new day. This exercise calms me right down, and quiets my mind so I can drift off peacefully. The key is remembering to do it! What I find helpful is to write a note and put it on my pillow, so I see it when I pull the covers back. :) Think in the morning. Act in the noon. Eat in the evening. Sleep in the night.
